About the role
As an Educational Specialist for the UK, you will be joining a team of educators who play a central role in our internationalisation process. You will educate teachers and schools about what LessonUp is, how it works and why we are committed to improving education. You will organise, lead and promote LessonUp through webinars, presentations, events and workshops. You will work closely with sales and marketing to provide unique campaigns and approaches to capture new customers and accelerate LessonUp’s growth in the market. You will also work closely with customer success, product and design teams to improve teacher experience with LessonUp.
Key responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of webinars, workshops and in-person sessions
Proactively approach educators and schools to promote LessonUp as a valuable classroom tool/platform for student engagement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to boost brand awareness, credibility and LessonUp usage in the education sector
Create well-designed curriculum-focused lessons to share within LessonUp community
Provide outstanding onboarding and support to new client schools
Continuously update teams on regional education trends, challenges & opportunities
Job requirements
Qualifications
Living in the UK, specifically in Northern Ireland (Belfast a plus)
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field (e.g. education, business)
6+ years experience within the education sector with leadership experience such as team lead or departmental head
Proven track record of leading workshops, webinars, and in-person events/ presentations
Excellent understanding of the UK education market specifically in your region
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a fully remote schedule
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams, creative, and know how to design an engaging class, lesson, webinar or workshop
Familiarity with education technology trends and best practices is a plus
Familiarity with graphic design and photoshop is a plus
