Partnership Manager

Netherlands, Zuid-Holland, Den HaagSales

Job description

With already more than 200K teachers as members of our LessonUp community, we strive to make our platform the best to-go-to-place to make teaching more fun, easy and interactive. To support this goal, we connect with great organisations that provide our teachers with top notch, present-day classes. We already have some big names on our platform like Van Gogh Museum, Rode Kruis, Anne Frank Stichting, Beeld & Geluid, but also some smaller impactful organisations that are of great value. We call them our Content Creators. And since the amount of Creators and users is growing, we are looking for a dedicated Sales and Account manager that will focus completely on maintaining and growing the best relationships with our current Creators. At the same time, this person will be responsible for finding our new partners to work with. Let us tell you a bit more about what this would entail.

Why working at LessonUp will be great.
Your days will never get boring. You provide our Creators with the "tender love and care" they deserve. You will be their strategic partner, finding ways to make more teachers use their content. You will be a main stakeholder to advise them about opportunities for them to be in the spotlight - like a cool webinar or event. You will visit museums, publishers and NGO's and you will investigate how LessonUp can help them to achieve their goals, and how they can add value to the LessonUp users. Since our Creators are also paying to be shown on our platform, it's really up to you to let them experience how they can benefit from the use of LessonUp. By investing time in them, giving them the attention they need and building a top notch relationship as a real partner. And when the deal is closed, you won't just disappear from the stage. You will still be the face of LessonUp, helping them to optimise their use of our platform.

Job requirements

What you will need to make this work.

You will achieve this by being a professional in your field. You have a strong experience in education, publishing, or anything else related, which makes you a great conversational partner. At LessonUp we believe in quality, so we really want you to be involved and informed about what these organisations are doing, before you get in touch. You have a lot of patience, but are also very resilient. This role asks for a great balance between being a helper and being very customer-focused, while keeping our commercial goals in mind. You are passionate about helping people to find the solutions to their needs, love to do demo's, meetings and other ways to show and tell about LessonUp. You are motivated to add value with what you are doing and always looking to learn new things.

In short:

- Experience in the field of education, publishing, NGO's or anything comparable.

- A combination of relationship building and deal closing.

- You have some knowledge on tech tools, but you know more about where to find great lesson material.

- You want to solve problems and you do this with flair.

- To take care of both our Dutch, Belgium and UK teachers, you speak both Dutch and English fluently.
